Women, Trans and Non-Binary (WTNB) Dig Day at Christie’s Lake

October 28 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT

The HBMBA team is excited to host our first Women, Trans and Non-Binary (WTNB) Dig Day at Christie Lake. In this women-led, hands-on build day, participants will be introduced to tools of the trade, learn about safety, and have an opportunity to make their mark on one of our existing trails.

Join the Hamilton Burlington Mountain Biking Association for a fun morning of trail building and maintenance. No experience is required and all HBMBA members are welcome. Non-members may attend one trail build day but must become a member in order to attend additional build days due to the HBMBA’s insurance and liability policy. If the weather is not suitable for building, you will receive an email prior to meeting.

The build day leader will plan the activities for the day and will provide instruction for the use and safety of the tools.

Who:

  • Open to women, trans and non-binary participants.
  • No prior trail building experience is necessary.
  • You do not need to have have an HBMBA membership to attend.
